After our fourth (yes fourth) attempt at registering with the Charities commission we have finally been approved! There’s lots to say about this process, and how the rules aren’t inherently aligned with mātāpono Māori, but today we are grateful. Even though we have always been a Social Enterprise this makes life a bit easier for us in a lot of ways, and cements our WHY firmly in place.
