Te Aronga / Purpose

The Te Aka Matua Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all individuals involved in the programme, including participants, mentors, coaches, advisors, presenters, and supporters. By participating, you agree to adhere to the terms and requirements detailed in this document to ensure a respectful and productive environment for everyone.

Ngā Mātāpono / General principles of conduct

As a participant in Te Aka Matua, you agree to uphold key principles throughout the programme, including acting respectfully and responsibly, demonstrating manaakitanga and aroha, and fostering an inclusive environment. You are encouraged to communicate openly, value diverse perspectives, and empower others to make decisions for their business. You agree to:

  • Act in a respectful, responsible manner and uphold the values of tika and pono in all aspects of involvement as part of the Programme;
  • Express manaakitanga and aroha to fellow members in the Programme to create an inclusive, mana-enhancing space;
  • Embody ngākau tapatahi, act ethically and at all times be committed to the Programme;
  • Clearly communicate intentions and expectations;
  • Take responsibility for your own actions; and
  • Encourage and empower all.

For mentors, coaches, and advisors, will also conduct themselves in a way that ensures guidance is supportive, mana-enhancing, and respectful of the tuakana/teina relationship, and follow the same mātāpono as participants.

Te Whakatau Take / Dispute resolution

If you have any concerns about conduct during the programme, please reach out to the programme delivery team at info@indigishare.co.nz. All disputes will be addressed in good faith, following a mana-enhancing process.

Te Whakaunu / Removal from the Programme

IndigiShare reserves the right to cancel or remove any participant from the programme if, in its sole discretion, it determines a breach of any terms outlined in this document.
