Throughout the year, Te Manu Atatū hosts and collaborates with other organisations to deliver events that connect and support Māori enterprise.

Joining our Network helps us continue providing our Members with support and opportunities. 

Key strategic objectives for our Network include:

  • Business Development & sustainability - we identify information and opportunities to support our Network across all areas of business growth and sustainability.
  • Partnerships & Advocacy - we work closely with local and regional Government and Economic Development Agencies, our Partners, and community organisations to collaborate and advocate for the needs and aspirations of our Network.

We are an inclusive organisation:

To join as a Member, you identify as Māori, be a business owner, employee, professional, student or job-seeker, and be located in the wider Whanganui region.

To join as an Associate Member, you or your organisation has an interest in encouraging, supporting and promoting Māori economic and social development.  Associate members shall have all rights and obigations of Members except:

  • Vote at any General Meeting, Annual General Meeting, or Special Meeting; or
  • Be elected as member of the Executive Committee
