Te Rōpū Pakihi supports the growth and development of Māori enterprise in the Kāpiti Coast and Horowhenua region
The network was established in April 2001 by nine founding businesses many of whom remain core members. The membership believes that it is the influence of kaupapa tuku iho that makes our businesses unique contributors to our communities.

Business Mentoring Programme
Our Manaakitanga initiative brings together experienced business operators with individuals and whānau who are interested in setting up their own business or with those who want to grow their existing business.
1 to 1 mentoring and support programme where an experienced business person will act as your kaiāwhina.

Business Clinics
Business Clinics is an opportunity for local organisations to meet with out members and discussopportunities they have available to support business growth, provide advice and access to resources.
These sessions will vary as we bring various organisations in to support our members such as IRD, Te Puni Kokiri, WellingtonNZ and more.
Mentoring Moments
Mentoring Moments is a monthly opportunity for our members to meet with one of our 3 mentors in our Otaki Office for a one-on-one session, to ask questions and discuss business ideas.
It's an opportunity to have external support to gain more clarity.

We regularly promote our members through our panui and social media platforms. You can sell your products and services through our online maori mall and add your pakihi to our business directory, which is the best place to find pakihi Māori across the rohe.
NETWORKING EVENTS
We regularly host online breakfast networking events and quarterly functions, where we often bring guest speakers. It's a chance for you to connect with other pakihi maori and celebrate our local achievements.

Our experts are available to our members to help with any questions they have regarding their business. You can ask about everything from tax and gst, business growth and progressive procurement, legal consultations, marketing, financing, business plans and funding. You'll also have access to our MyMāoriMentor online mentoring programme.
