Kete Ōhanga | Ringa Rautia
Ringa Rautia is a 10-week business development programme specifically for Ngāti Whakaue-owned businesses. In partnership with Toi Ohomai, and with sponsorship from Rotorua NZ, and Ngāti Whakaue Education Endowment Trust, Ringa Rautia was designed in response to the needs of our pakihi. It aims to help strengthen and grow Ngāti Whakaue businesses through a wrap-around development programme. The key outcome is the development of a comprehensive business plan.

The programme consists of:
- Weekly workshops delivered by specialist tutors from Toi Ohomai
- Weekly one-on-one business coaching sessions (with Linda Bradbrook) to help business apply learnings
- Opportunity for an up to $5,000 capital grant upon completion

The workshops are being run by Toi Ohomai and will draw on their extensive network of experts to upskill business owners in the following areas:
- Business and strategic planning
- Sales, marketing and social media
- Money and tax
- Legal and compliance
- Employing people and building a team
- Innovation, entrepreneurship and attracting investment
