Te Whare Manaaki is IndigiShare’s peer-to-peer lending platform connecting pakihi Māori with kaituku pūtea through zero-interest, repayable loans.
We’re proud to share that Te Whare Manaaki is about to enter its pilot phase, with expressions of interest open for kaituku pūtea (investors).
This pilot is being delivered under the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) regulatory sandbox, operating under a six-month ‘no-action relief’ period. This provides a unique opportunity to test and refine a tikanga-led model of capital in a controlled environment, the first of its kind in Aotearoa.
For this initial phase, we are working alongside select hapū to support a small group of pakihi Māori. While participation for pakihi in this pilot is by referral through participating hapū, we welcome expressions of interest from those wanting to be considered for future rounds.
We are currently inviting expressions of interest from:
- Kaituku pūtea ready to koha and support pakihi Māori
- Pakihi interested in future funding opportunities
